Wednesday, March 26, 2025 - An historical day in Wellington rugby.
This was the day the first ever woman, and first ever Pacific Islander was blessed to be the President of the WRFU. Rebecca Liua’ana, congratulations. Vi’ia le agalelei o le Ali’i. Another great accolade added to the many Becs already has. They say, people who end up “first” don’t set out to be first. They set out to do something they love. Thank you for your continued love and service to our O-Family, and greater Wellington rugby family. Mum would be so proud of you, and there is no doubt her and dad are dancing and cheering for you, from above. ONE of ONE! |
30 YEARS for ORIES WOMEN'S RUGBY!
This year marks a significant milestone, the 30th anniversary of the Ories Women's team, established in 1995. We'll commemorate this occasion on O-Timers Day, May 17, 2025. We extend an invitation to all former & current players and management team members from 1995 to 2025 to join us for a celebratory dinner on Friday May 16, 2025 and to watch our current women's team play at the club on Saturday, May 17th.
